Proclamation
WHEREAS: Mission Tri-State is working in cooperation with Mission America, consists of a coalition of fifty pastors
from throughout our three-state region that regularly come together to pray for and towards a spiritual awakening for the
entire Tri-State area that would lead to a positive transformation of our communities; and
WHEREAS: Based on the worldwide model of community transformation, Mission Tri-State has followed the lead of 500 plus
communities where intercessors, pastors, business and professional leaders by uniting in prayer have seen a dramatic improvement
of the spiritual, social, political and economic conditions as a direct result of God's grace and mercy; and
WHEREAS: For the last four years, Mission Tri-State has come together each month at City Hall to pray for God's will
and blessings for Huntington and the Tri-State area; and
NOW, THEREFORE, I, DAVID FELINTON, MAYOR OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON, CABELL AND WAYNE COUNTIES, do hereby authorize Mission
Tri-State to officially invite the presence and blessing of God into every sector of our city on this Tuesday, the 26th of
February, 2008.
