Dear Covenant Supporters:
I hope
you're enjoying these beautiful sunny days. We know this time of the year can be challenging for those of us with lawns
to mow, but it is a great chance to get outside and soak up all that wonderful sunshine.
Last
month we held our Mission Tri-State Huntington Pastors' Retreat. It was a time of profound revelation. Our group of
pastors was in total agreement that God was speaking to us. We are entering a season which would be filled with resistance.
However, God assured us that this resistance would be a triumph for His glory. He convicted us that we should not be afraid,
but continue to press on in the work He has given us to do. If you would like to have a full summary of this retreat, feel
free to go to our website at www.missionstristate.net and there you can read the complete summary.
At this retreat God also impressed upon us that we are to network the Intercessory Teams of all those churches that are
a part of Mission Tri-State. Along with that, we are also to set up a Prophetic Network for Mission Tri-State. Therefore,
if you would like to be connected to either one of these networks, feel free to contact our office at 304-453-3151.
We solicit your prayers for the upcoming Ashland Pastors' Retreat that will take place on May 10 and 11
at Asbury Retreat Center. The Ashland pastors are looking forward to getting away and discerning what God would say to them
concerning His plans for bringing revival to their community.
Mission Tri-State is connected
to a regional work known as "Pray West Virginia". We'd like to call your attention to the fact that Pray West
Virginia will be hosting a Revival Summit on May 24 at King's River Worship Center, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This
one-day summit will have for the first time a pastor's tract and an intercessor's tract. If you'd like to register
and find more information, please go to the Pray West Virginia website at www.praywv.org. This will be a great opportunity
for you to learn more about what God is doing in this entire region, and the part Huntington is playing in this region-wide
network.
This Friday will be our final Community Leaders Breakfast before our summertime
break. Our Community Leaders Breakfasts have proven to be a wonderful oasis of encouragement for all those who are involved.
We are very encouraged to see the number of community leaders who have chosen to participate and have expressed their appreciation.
We encourage you to pray that God will continue to grace this time together.
Again, we'd
like to thank you for your willingness to be a part of this movement. We express our appreciation to those who are able to
donate to help us continue this work of uniting the Body of Christ together as we work toward community transformational revival.
We have seen God do some amazing things, and we're looking for even greater things ahead.
Yours in Christ's service,
